YAZBUKEY

YAZBUKEY has been created by two sisters: Yaz & Emel, Ottoman princesses and descendants of Mehmet Ali Pasha, King of Egypt.

After having lived in different countries, the duo settled down in Paris, where they individually gained work experiences with designers like Jeremy Scott, Christian Laroix, Martin Margiela and Givenchy. These experiences led them to launch an accessory line with the concept of dressing up a black dress. The world of YAZBUKEY describes a very playful universe, inspired by old musicals and Gershwin’s music, tales of La Fontaine & Grimm, cinematic sources from Hitchcock to Tim Burton, and icons of popular culture.
